As I labor to log 100 non-union days to reach the golden ticket goal of getting into the Local 600 which is the Cinematographers union (they handle the still guys like me as well), I get to enjoy a grass roots level of film making. People who still believe in the dream, and pay out of their pocket for every opportunity they can to put film “in the can.”

One such case, i was afforded to work with Director Sven Kamm, as they embark on a journey of documenting, real Chinese Shaolin Monks from a monestary in the Henan Province , as they train, live, show, and enjoy something close to our hearts… Los Angeles. Our Production Manager Stacy Ballard, made our lives easy and made sure we ate right, so thank you Stacy, and a big thanks to Executive producer Liivy Webb, of Goldenhead LLC
